Jessica Hazzard-White

Summary

Jessica is a Provisional Psychologist with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from the University of Sydney, and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) and a Master of Professional Psychology from the University of New England. Jessica is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy and Trauma-Informed Care.

Jessica works both with adults, and with children and their families.

Please note that as Jessica is a Provisional Psychologist, she is not able to provide Medicare or Private Health fund rebates at this time. As she is not able to provide rebates, she charges a reduced fee.

Jessica’s approach to counselling values compassion and curiosity at the forefront, and she works with a humanistic and person-centred framework that promotes self-understanding, self-acceptance and authentic self-expression. Jessica values empathy, compassion, curiosity, respect and the importance of the therapeutic relationship. Central to Jessica’s practice of counselling is the importance of fairness, equality and social justice. When working with ADHD, Autism Spectrum and sensory processing difficulties, Jessica comes from a perspective which celebrates neurodiversity.
