Alicia Portelli
Clinical Psychologist

Alicia is a warm and compassionate Clinical Psychologist dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for healing. With a deep commitment to her clients’ wellbeing, she specialises in working with neurodivergent individuals, as well as those navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life stressors, grief and loss, complex trauma, personality disorders and perinatal mental health.

Graduating with distinction from Western Sydney University, Alicia brings both academic excellence and heartfelt care into her practice. She believes in the power of authentic connection and tailors her approach to each person’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based therapies with a respectful, person-centred lens. Known for her empathetic presence and non-judgmental style, she works collaboratively with clients to foster insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

Her work with neurodivergent individuals is especially important to her, as she recognises the diverse ways in which people experience the world. She works collaboratively with clients to develop strategies for managing their emotions, relationships, and daily lives. Her nuanced understanding of complex trauma also allows her to guide clients in reclaiming their sense of safety, self-worth, and empowerment.

Her therapeutic style is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for the courage it takes to seek support.

Outside the therapy room, she’s often found curled up with a good book and her beloved cats, embracing her love for quiet moments, lifelong learning, and the beauty of being human.

Alicia practices from our Lindfield Glasshouse location on Tuesdays and Thursdays with fortnightly Saturday appointments
