Financial Support through Jewish Care

Jewish Care is helping support affected individuals through reimbursing out-of-pocket (gap) fees for counselling sessions.

Up to 10 hours of counselling services may be claimed following the Medicare rebate for each session.

Who can apply?

  • A person who was present during the Bondi incident and has been psychologically or physically injured as a direct result of the attack, or a person who was in the immediate vicinity and has been psychologically injured as a direct result of witnessing the incident.

  • A person who is an immediate family member of a homicide victim of the Bondi attack.

  • A person who is a related family member providing support to a victim or family member of a victim.

  • A person from the broader community experiencing trauma as an indirect result of the Bondi incident. This may include people with historical associations to other traumatic events, such as Holocaust survivors.
