Cool Kids Anxiety Program
The Cool Kids program is a 10 week, evidence-based program that teaches children and adolescents, alongside their parents, ways to manage anxiety. Each week, participants learn new skills to tackle all types of anxiety, including general worry, separation anxiety, specific fears, concerns about the future, and panic.
Cool Kids is a world-renowned skills-based program developed by Macquarie University’s Centre for Emotional Health. Studies have found that most young people who complete the program show significant improvement in their anxiety symptoms.
The program focuses on:
Learning about feelings and anxiety
Thinking realistically
Facing fear
Parenting an anxious child
Developing coping skills

The program is designed for young people aged between 7–17 who present with symptoms of anxiety.

The total cost of the program is $900, this includes:
An initial consultation

CBRS assessment
Under Medicare, you are eligible to receive 10 individual therapy sessions and 10 group therapy sessions. For group therapy sessions, the rebate per session is $25.25.
